Suvival Signs & Symbols

Survival Signs & Symbols is designed for students who need extra instructional time with sight word recognition. Four activities: Identify, Multiple Choice, Match, and Voice Recorder promote greater safety and independence for low-level and non-readers as they go about their daily activities in the community. There are 75 widely recognized informative and cautionary symbols and signs used in the community.

Settings allow you to customize activity options, such as when and whether to display the sign (on the front of the card), the sign description (on the back of the card), and when speech is enabled.

Activity results are saved to track the learner’s progress. Print worksheets and word lists for activities away from the computer.

The Lite version is free and allows you to try the program before buying. This Lite version gives access to the four activities with a limited selection of the included signs and symbols.
